Today was the first day of the Spring 2010 semester. I bought books, walked to the bank, went to class, walked to the rec center twice, went to the library, spent more money on textbooks, registered ….and yes, I did homework. I no longer expect no homework on the first day of class, so I wasn’t disappointed. If you don’t expect too much then you’re never let down, right?
I have my first night class from 7:00 to 9:45! That’s almost three hours long! The injustice! In order to learn the most effectively, after every 45 minutes students need a break (according to research, according to Professor Starkenburg). So that’s three breaks during this one class. The likelihood that we will get three breaks is very slim! I will not count my chickens before they are hatched.
Oh well, it’s only once a week…so I shall survive. “Did I crumble? Did I lay down and die? I will survive. Oh and as long as I know how to love I know I stay alive. I’ve got all my life to live, I’ve got all my love to give. And I’ll survive! I will survive! Hey, hey.” Oh sorry, I just got caught up in the 80’s for a minute there. (You should check out the music video…it’s very 80’s haha).
