When I grow up, I want to be….ME 🙂
I want to be a child-life specialist and I want to be a special ed aid…I want to be a wife and I want to be a mother… I want to be a friend and I want to be a leader. But most of all I just want to be me.
Actions come from the heart and who we are, but life is not about what we do, but who we are. Actions are the strongest portrayal of who we are. Just think about how less stressful life would be if we focused more on being ourselves and less on doing stuff. When we are who God wants us to be and our hearts are where He wants them, then our actions will automatically reflect who we are and who God is. God has made us with unique personalities, passions and peeves. We also each have unique purposes.
I want to be me. Or rather, the perfect portrayal of who God wants me to be.
