Well recently there hasn’t really been a “normal” day. I’ve been doing some different stuff since we’re reorganizing our store to the way it was last year. No one’s too happy to be doing double work, but it has to be done, according to the big wigs.
Anyways, two conversations I had today happen on any and almost every average day at work.
1. I always get this from males concerning other males: “Hey, you’re a beauty advisor. I have a question for you: Is there any hope for him?” hahahaha. That was funny the first time and now I just pretend to think it’s funny 😛
2. “How do you pronounce your name? Chair-eese?” I explain the correct pronunciation, they ask the origins, I explain that it’s Greek for grace…they say “that’s cool. Your family Greek?” I explain my dad’s a pastor…and that’s where the conversation ends.
This conversation was one I have not had yet:
“Excuse me ma’am, I know you’re probably on a mission, but I just want to tell you something. My son just ti ti’d (I think that means peeed) all over the women’s bathroom. I wiped it up, but if it starts to stink, you might want to wet mop it.”
“Um, okay.” delicious…
On another note, I moved magazines from aisle 5 to aisle 7 on Friday. This afternoon I moved them from aisle 7 to the front.
