Well, 90 posts and more than 31 months later, it seems as though my blog has come to a standstill. I’m not quite sure what happened to it, but apparently I stopped posting. I’m here to say that I plan to start posting on here again. As I skimmed my past posts I realize that there are posts I probably never should have written, posts that simply reflect the struggles of everyday life, and posts that I feel just as strongly about today as the day I wrote them. I will not go back and delete posts because they are a testimony to where I’ve been and how I’ve changed.
I will not dedicate this blog to one topic (although that would get more views and dedicated followers). My plan for now is to continue blogging like I did before. Sometimes I will post pictures, sometimes I will ramble and sometimes I might even have structured thoughts. I will be honest, yet just guarded enough. And I will do my best to point the few readers who accidentally stumble on this to one who is Greater than I.
So, here’s a quick update. Since my last post I have graduated college, moved back home, been to the doctor a few times, sent out what seems like endless applications for a Child Life Internship and now I am continuing to work as a Walgreens slave. I am waiting in eager anticipation for the next step of my life.
In my devotions yesterday I read what Max Lucado wrote and it really struck a chord with me: “God knows what he is doing. When you can’t trace his hand, trust his heart.” Story of my life right now.
