Here’s something different for you 🙂
I ran my first “fun” run today (meaning there wasn’t a specific distance I was supposed to go) after running a half marathon. I just ran on trails near our apartment and then when I got home I mapped it to see how far I had gone. I ended up going just over 5 miles, so that’s pretty good, I think. When I got back, I was hungry and thirsty, so I decided to make a watermelon smoothie. It thought it was delicious, so I’m going to share it with you!
Blend the following ingredients in a blender:
1 slice watermelon (half of a complete round)
1 large spoon raspberry sorbet
4 (or so) ice cubes
1/4 cup coconut
a dash of milk
Do not add any sugar! It doesn’t need it!
This recipe makes one large smoothie.
I would recommend adding banana and/or spinach for more nutrition. Ah! So nice on a hot, summer day!
